Walk to End Alzheimer's 2018

Updated: Oct 21, 2020

More than 2,200 Tulsa residents joined the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 15th at the University of Tulsa. The city of Tulsa has been named third in the Top Performers Nationwide in 2018 among other cities hosting the walk. Among the 259 teams, Invictus Healthcare System showed up big time by having 44 team members that raised $510.00 in our first year!

Participants completed a 1.5-mile walk and learned about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities and support programs/services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants also honored the family members, friends and people that have been personally affected by this disease. Many employees at Invictus have experienced this horrible disease firsthand by losing family members and friends, so this event really brought everyone together and supported those who are still hurting.
