Dr. Corey M. Stubbs

Dr. Corey M. Stubbs is a chiropractic specialist with over two decades of experience and an essential member of the Invictus Spine Team. Dr. Stubbs adjusts the spine and joints to restore function, support the nervous system, and emphasize the body’s ability to heal itself for his patients.

His personal and compassionate care has resulted in Dr. Stubbs winning the "People's Choice" award for Chiropractic Care in his area for fourteen years in a row.

In celebration of Chiropractic Awareness Month, here are some fun facts you might not have known about Chiropractic!

The Founding Father of Chiropractic
Dr. Daniel David Palmer

· Sources date the birth of Chiropractic back to 1895! The first modern Chiropractic adjustment was performed by Daniel David Palmer on a man named Harvey Lillard, who had sustained a back injury 17 years prior. As a result, he lost his hearing, which was regained after his work with Palmer.

· The term “chiropractic” derives from two Grecian words: “cheiro” which means hand, and “praktikos” which means practical. Loosely translated, it means “done by hand.”

· All 32 NFL teams have their own chiropractor to support wellness and treat musculoskeletal injuries.

· Some adjustments may cause a “popping” or “cracking” sound. This is not the sound of bones cracking, but actually the sound of air escaping the joints!

If you think you may benefit from chiropractic care, we would love to help! Request an appointment now.
