Tulsa native, Gregory L. Wilson, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Tulsa and a doctorate from The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He trained as a resident at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, completed a Neurosurgical Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed cerebral vascular training at The University of Western Ontario, in London Ontario, Canada. In addition, Dr. Wilson is Board Certified in Neurosurgery.

 

Dr. Wilson has been in practice in the Tulsa area for over 25 years, where he has taken a conservative and holistic approach to analyzing his patient’s needs in order to provide the best neurosurgical or spine care possible. Dr. Wilson and his team of providers find the root cause of medical issues, rather than treating the symptoms of the pain his patients are experiencing.

 

He specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, which have demonstrated consistent success in reducing pain and patient recovery time. Minimally invasive surgery requires a much smaller incision thereby minimizing the damaging effects of muscle retraction experienced in standard spinal surgery. In addition, Dr. Wilson provides surgical treatment for diseases of the nervous system including brain tumors, brain trauma, cerebrovascular conditions, spinal cord tumors, hydrocephalus, etc. He also performs spinal cord stimulation to reduce the effects of pain.
