Tulsa native Gregory Wilson graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Tulsa and a doctorate from The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He trained as a resident at OSU Medial Center in Tulsa and completed a Neurosurgical Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Wilson also completed cerebral vascular training at the University of Western Ontario, in London Ontario, Canada. In addition to his fellowship training, Wilson is Board Certified in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Wilson has been in practice in the Tulsa area for over 25 years, where he has taken a conservative and holistic approach to analyzing his patient’s needs in order to provide the best neurosurgical or spine care possible. He specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, which has demonstrated consistent success in reducing pain and patient recovery time. Minimally invasive surgery requires a much smaller incision thereby minimizing the damaging effects of muscle retraction experienced in standard spinal surgery. In addition, Dr. Wilson provides surgical treatment for diseases of the nervous system including brain tumors, brain trauma, cerebro vascular conditions, spinal cord tumors, hydrocephalus, etc. He also performs spinal cord stimulation to reduce the effects of chronic pain.
